Our Glorious Past (Mahanagar Girls' Inter College)

Mahanagar Girls’ Inter College, an English medium institution, established in 1997 and administered by Mahanagar Girls’ Education Society, was affiliated to U.P. Board & provided education in all three streams – Humanities, Science & Commerce from Nursery - XII. It catered to a deeply felt need for an all girls’ school in the trans Gomti area and its prime location was an added advantage. MGIC always gave excellent academic results and excelled in co-curricular activities. Till 2011, when the school opted for CBSE affiliation, thousands of students passed through these portals and went out to stamp their mark on the world. MGIC girls have conquered various heights and can be found in almost every field. MGIC was renowned as one of the best girls’ colleges in the city. The school was well known for its discipline. The same excellent traditions are being carried forward by the school in its avatar as Loyola International School under the continued and able guidance of Ms Shruti Singh.
